        This reminds me of a video I saw a few years back explaining how a 3d render/animation is made for clients. The presentation while funny was really well made, sadly I never managed to find it again.

              I tend to agree with both of these. From one side you don't want to appear "pushy", but from another side the client needs to be educated in the process. Comes down to a similar theme in Bobby's thread about contracts. A solid contract together with an article like this, will help us do what we're good at, rendering. The client is suppose to be good at design and one would hope they do their part before they hand it to you

                it could seem defensive but depending who is your client may change the rules on the way..Architectural firms in general think that they are paying for a process more like a design tool than a final rendering that represent their design, they are always in "WIP" stage. Developers want everything for yesterday if you are not done with the renderings is your fault and they are losing money and momentum...and everybody think that one can read minds.
