    what only 16gb ram.`?

yes.. the only weak spot.. but then its supposedly a gaming machine, and more ram = harder to overclock.. so i can understand it.

anyway, it says that when you order you get to discuss the build and customise it before its built. you can request more ram but risk a lower final overclock.

4x overclocked titan x'es would be nice for RT though

20 grand and 16 GB of RAM? NOT! My renders would choke.

i agree wholeheartedly.. dont get me wrong. but at least you could increase the ram for an infinitesimally small proportion of the price

The individual parts add up to roughly 9000$ US.
            Ludicrously overpriced...

of course.. but i believe the point of this machine, is -everything- gets cherry picked from the stock, finding the best overclocking components (chips differ massively in max headroom) , and then is overclocked by the current world champion (yes apparently such a thing exists)

              then sold with a warranty.

its also beautifully made ( look at the pics!)

as mentioned in the initial post.. value for money doesnt really factor. its a beast.

those titan-x 'es with watercooling can approach a 50% overclock, especially if they are selected for their ability in that regard. and there are 4 of them in there.
