Saving back from 2016 to 2014 has reduced the file size

By 60mb ! Why is this happening ?

I got fed up with 2016 slow speed with everything I do so decided to use 2014 again.

Is compress on save enabled?

I'll check but I think I turned it off as the compression was taking forever.
