    HI There,

trying to add a uvw map to lots of objects, all at the same time, but the uvw modifier should align to each object individually.
so basically select all objects, apply uvw map modifier, but the modifier should then be aligned to each selected object's own axis.
I have found MultiUVW on scriptspot, but it gives me an error : Type error : closeRolloutFloater requires RolloutFloater, got: undefined
I have also found another script (on cgarchitect) doing the same, but this one gives me : --Runtime error:Modifier is not approprate:Uvwmap:UVW Map
    (http://forums.cgarchitect.com/37303-...e-objects.html)

anybody know of a simply & quick way to do this?

    thanks, wim

    Hi Wim

Select all your objects. Then in the modifier list, click the little dropdown to show the list of modifiers. Then at the VEEEEEEERY top of that list, above the little dashed line is a thing that says "use pivots points".

Select that, then add your UVMAP. It will centre to each object
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Neat, thanks... Wish I'd known that little trick about 14 years earlier.

I find it funny how this little tip comes up every couple of years...and it's super exciting...only to be forgotten a month down the road! I'm definitely guilty of this until I go back over my notes.

                        Great tip as always! Cheers!
