Hi there. I'm currently working on a project that involves importing CAD data into maya. This part of the process is fine but I've found that some of the geometry is linked to helpers and if I send the model to 3dsmax (my primary 3d application) it causes the linked geometry to move. Is there a way to stop this from happening or take a snapshot of the geometry (similar to how you can in 3dsmax) so that the links are removed from the duplicate geometry ?
