    hi all...

can i use a camera in max and take 3 shots each with the lens shifted as one can do with a real camera and a shift lens or a shiftable camera back.

after that i want to stich the images to create a wider picture... using a low focal length with the camera distorts the image scale too much... and taking it back and using a camera clip may not work for some shots.

    best regards,
    Bakbek.

    yes you can

go to http://www.scriptspot.com and search for a script called TECHNICAL CAMERA

If you work in Viz then the camera correction is built in

It's also possible to do a render using blow-up (shift the window up). or as I do a lot for photomontages, render a vertical format and crop later in PS. if you don't want to render the bottom part of the scene, make a matte object, or something easy to render.

ps: I'm still doing this in MAX6
