  • Max 2016 - scene explorer - hiding group content in layer mode??

    Hi guys,

i ve been using Outliner for past few years where it was possible whenever you were working in layer mode, to hide group content and have only the group wrapper visible.
This was very usefull and my scenes were always organised
However now the scene explorer is a proper mess.
Can i somehow hide the group content while working in the layer mode????

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

As far as I know the group should be left opened to see its "Brackets" in the viewport while all of its content is hidden.

yes but regardless if i have it opened or not, i can still see the group children in the scene explorer when working in layer mode
when the group is closed it should appear in scene explorer as one object no?

Actually, I don't know to be honest. But it looks like there is no change in that regard between Max 2015 - 2016.
