Does anyone have experience with illustrating skyscrapers? I worked on a few over a decade ago and I might have an opportunity now, however I'm not sure how to approach it. Pretty organic looking, so it's not a traditional tombstone looking building. I'm not sure what will be provided; might be a model, but I don't know. The last one I did was built for a 100 million and sold for over 2 million a year later.

im not sure your image had the intended purpose

anyway i do a lot of skyscrapers, so any tips i can give i will.. having said that, ithe only real difference between those and any other building vis is the issues with populating all the floors.

i generally use planes with lightmtl on to illuminate the interiors, with some nice random colours ( whites/yellows/blues) to vary the internal lighting.

make "islands" of furniture (with stuff on the desks) and break-out spaces, and create a library of those, each collapsed into a single mesh and proxied.
