Phoenix not coming to max 6?

Hi guys.

Has there been any official announcment that phoenix won't be ported to max 6?

I saw it on Digimation's site that it wouldn't be ported.
Has it gone the way of Stitch and is being re-named and re-distributed by another company?

Or is Aura replacing phoenix? I know it was said at the initial announcement of Aura that it was not a replacment for phoenix. Has that changed?

Any info is appreciated as phoenix is the only plugin that we use regularly that is not being ported to max 6.
