3dsmax thumbnail preview in windows file explorer possible?

a while back there was a reg-file that did the job...

any good idea how to get a 3dsmax thumbnail file preview in 64 bit explorer of windows7pro

I've been searching a while for this (XNVIEW with some plugins; mystic thumbs; not of them seem te work) but nothing valid came up. But DesignConnected created an app that can do it. You should check it out: http://connecterapp.com/

xnview does the job, but i found this thread on area

it works so far the thumbs are small and i don´t exactly know what to delete in the registry.
...the whole key of the .max connection in the HHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT ??
i have here three sub-entrys...
1- open with progids
2-persistent handler
3- shellex
