  • random bitmap transform on instanced geometry

    is there any way to - for instance - randomly rotate (by 90 or 180 degrees) texture on instanced geometry?
    I think the best way to accomplish this is some special texture...
    BerconMapping texture has such feature but I can't set increment for rotation.
    I have tried with ScriptController to change texture rotation randomly by node but with no luck...

    Try vray multisubtex with copies of your bitmap rotated by each 90 degree angle and set it to random by node.

      Ideally this should be handled directly in the vraymultisubtex map.

        But I hope there's a more automated method.
        If I would like to randomly flip textures beside rotation I would have to prepare another set of textures which are flipped. It is somewhat tedious
