i initially thought it looked like vraypattern, but on closer reading, it appears to generate real geometry, which although much more flexible then vraypattern, does give the same ram limitations you would get with any normal geometry in max. with vraypattern, its all done at rendertime, and uses practically no ram. this is its biggest benefit, but also the reason for all the limitations ( im not saying they couldnt improve the functionality, i bought it but never used it in production yet since it has too many issues with tiling and lack of variation)

Just installed the demo of Advanced Modeler Pro.
The good news is that it works as advertised and doesn not crash. I had a lot of fun painting the SCI-FI scene, filling it with 7 Million polys without troubles.
Unfortunately the demo is very, very limited. They call it "Trial" on the website but it really is only a demo of the features as you can only use the two provided example scenes with their associated content. You cannot use it with your own source and target geometries and have no access to the paint options.
Also the help pages are very crude, and the Weebly footer at their bottom makes the thing a bit amateurish.
I'll definitely be waiting for a more complete trial version !
