Make Length

Is there an equivalent MAX command, like in AutoCAD, that allows you to pick 2 points and set a distance? When I paste a site plan, onto a plane, it is a pain to scale. Now, I move the pivot to a known point on the plan, make a box to the right length and move it to the images pivot, and scale the plane until it somewhat matches. Why can't I picket two points and tell MAX the length?

Hmm - I'd normally do something like snap a tape helper between the two points to get it's current distance, then divide that distance into the length I want it to be to get a percentage factor I need to scale it by to match.

I remember in AutoCAD, you would pick point one, then point two, and type the distance.

I do the same as you do Bobby, if you find a good alternative in max, I'm open ears.
I'll get back to you if I find a solution one day on my side.

I use the 3 point rotation script 100 times a day. But never tried the scale one, although sounds like it might be what you're looking for

3pt align is an incredibly useful script.. the latest version will also scale if you choose so.
