  • Peter Guthrie HDRI

Over the past several years I was buying these $100+ dollar HDRI's, thinking that they are the best, however, I purchased one of Peter's and it's as good as, if not better then, the $100 ones. I was literally ready to fork over another $100, for a project I am starting, and I thought I would do a quick Google search to see if anything else is worth looking at. I purchased some of Peter's, years ago, but for some reason they didn't work very well. This new HDRI is the cats meow! Kudos, Peter!

Which ones are the new ones or which one did you purchase?

I'm not sure if it's new or I was doing somethings wrong before. I'll have to look at which one I purchased.

Just as random feedback bobby, the white title text on each of the pages on your website is being displayed over very bright and airy renderings or photos - a lot of the sentence is disappearing into white parts of the photo behind it and can't be read.

Yes, I did notice that. When you scroll, the background moves and you can see the text on other parts of the image. I tried black text, however, it's more difficult to read. When I get a changes I'll take a deeper look. Thanks!

See if css has any kind of outline / drop shadow option for text.

I'll try some. On the one I purchased, the horizon line is high, so I have to deal with the black strip.

+1 thanks Dave, just grabbed a bunch. Cheers.

Yip these are pretty good, but I've been getting better results with Peter's ones. That's not to say Peter's are better or anything, just that I'm use to the values to enter.

I still want to try out the ones from cg-source, they look pretty awesome

If only there was a sample we could try out
                            Kind Regards,
