Hi there. I'm wiring a few items to a slider to control percentage along path. I'm trying to offset 2 of them so that the items all line up. The equation I'm using is simple: (value/100) + (10/100) - as an example. The (10/100) is the offset I'm trying to add but it isn't working. If instead I change the equation to: (value/100) + 0.1 the offset works. Why isn't this working with the 10/100 calc ?

The wiring needs some love I think. I wired a simple double door and for the past 3 years nobody can tell me why max crash when I instance the door, but all fine if I copy it.

It's all these little annoying things like 10/100 not working but 0.1 does. Have you tried putting it in double brackets? ((10/100))
    Kind Regards,
    Morne

Not sure if it'll work in this case, but lately I've been using Reaction Controllers instead of wiring. A lot of the time it can save you from having to think.

Ditto here, I started using Reaction Manager over a year ago and LOVE it and haven't used the wire params since. Although most of what I do lately is mechanical animations of heavy drilling equipment I think RM would be awesome and crazy easy to setup for arch viz for opening doors and such...
