        So fat ESET seems to fit the bill. My impressions of Kaspersky is that it is very intrusive and heavy, but that's just what I have hear and read.

              I mostly don't even know it's there, it just works. I have the all in one solution that also come with firewall, parent control, anti-spam anti-banner anti-younameit. The one I have is also multi device so it's also on my phones and tablets. The defaults work for most people but if you know a little something you can tweak anything and everything in it.

                  That was my tactic, too, but I remember Microsoft not recomending their own anti-virus software.
