seems to be 2X the cost. 3 machines and I'm really only interested in the one machine. My ISP's antivirus is fine for the other devices.

I've been using Kaspersky for years and have always been very happy with them

So fat ESET seems to fit the bill. My impressions of Kaspersky is that it is very intrusive and heavy, but that's just what I have hear and read.

What do you guys like about Kaspersky?

I mostly don't even know it's there, it just works. I have the all in one solution that also come with firewall, parent control, anti-spam anti-banner anti-younameit. The one I have is also multi device so it's also on my phones and tablets. The defaults work for most people but if you know a little something you can tweak anything and everything in it.

Windows defender and common sense only for me as well, it has gotten better over the years.

That was my tactic, too, but I remember Microsoft not recomending their own anti-virus software.
