3dsmax 2016 "ping" after closing

After I close max I hear a "ping" every time. I associated this ping with some kind of error. But it does not come up with any message. Every time I re-start max the materials and maps checkbox has to be selected to display these types in the material list editor. Is this happening to anyone else ?

I get that when I launch MAX, but not when I close it.

I have the same thing happening. Have no idea what or why. No message, only the ping.

I got same thing. I think it's some error with Microsoft Visual C ++

Do you have to re-open up the materials/maps in the mat editor again, as in the check boxes for those two so you can see vray materials and maps ?
