I just wonder. The Maya 2016 extension 2 was released the same date as max 2017. Is there no Maya 2017 ?

Maybe they announce Mayas EOL at Siggraph :P
On a serious note I guess the release candidate just isn't ready and they'll had to push it back 1 or 2 month. -
I think it probably has something to do with their recent acquisition....Maxscript made easy....
