Hello,
Just a small message to say that if you plan to install max2017 on windows server 2012 (for instance if you have render nodes), be sure to have the latest versions of .net framework and visual c++ 2015 installed before trying to install max !
And to be able to install the latest versions of .net and visual c++, you need to be uptodate with a certain number of windows updates...
It will save you some time figuring out why the install crashes and spending a sunday afternoon on this
