BB Suspend Job vs. Restart Job?

If I send a job to DR via BB, does suspend actually do just that and pick up where it left off? Or is that a BB-only thing?

In terms of stills, suspend is same as restart - Basically do-over
In terms of animation, suspend will stop at current frame (without finishing that current frame). Restart will start AFTER last finished frame

In both cases it doesnt matter if it is BB only or DR via BB

I thought I saw something about being able to pause stills. I must have been imagining that.
