  • How - creating Panorama for iPad autogyrati

    Hi,

My new employers have mentioned a technology they were shown of an interior's visual displayed on an ipad, which by physically moving the ipad up/down, left/right etc they were able to view the insides of the Office Space.

I'm well used to Spherical Image renders and using something like Pano2VR to create a mouse controlled experience on a PC etc, but as I'm very new to iPads etc, I'm wondering where to start looking (I am currently taking a look at Pano2VR's website).

Any pointers and guidance would be really appreciated.

    Many thanks.
    Jez

    Take a look here:
    http://krpano.com/

There's a free demo you can try out.

Easier interface (that still use KRpano in the backend):

    Kind Regards,

Thanks Morne, but we'd already invested in Pano2VR.

I found my solution in the end - it required enabling Gyroscope in the HTML.

KRPano is what the majority are using for this... If you have a spherical image then drag and drop it on the proper KRPano bat file, upload to a webserver, open on your ipad and it will work the way your boss is describing.

Maybe you can do it that easily with Pano2VR but I haven't used that app.
