      thats the frostbyte engine from Dice... more or less all new EA games are using this engine...

          Don't forget that to actually have everything behaving that way it takes A LOT of work. Just material-wise it's really complex. Also where's the pre-lighting calculations time? Impressive indeed, but it's not as straight forward as it seems.

              really amazing stuff, the game engines are really powerful, so your trying to do it just in max? if so then huge task, best to use max in combination with worldmap or similar or do it in the game engine and them export the geometry, we used to do this back in the day at one company i used to work for
