  • MILTILAYERD EXR FILES sequence

    anyone knows how to open these in aftereffects and preserve the layers and sequences? i also have pro exr but can't seem to get it to work

    What version of Aftereffects are you using? Depending on/regardless of which version you are using, expect delay. If you are using a version before CC....I wouldn't suggest going down this road. Or keep your composite light. In an earlier version of CC, layered EXRs functioned better....and then Adobe broke it. I switched to Nuke....expensive but less murderous rage

    For each RE you want to switch to (diffuse, spec, z, etc), you have to duplicate your footage and apply an Extractor effect and then assign your RGBA to the RE you want.

      am using aftereffects 2015 cc that last part i didnt really get that you suggested
