Not many UK companies I know would be willing to risk their reputation on the delivery of someone who isn't accountable in the same country.

I have had people come to me because they felt robbed from cheap on-line services. I am not saying archicgi.dot.com is one of them, but some are. Clients order a rendering, wait while deadlines are missed, and they get something that isn't what they expected. The on-line service is willing to change things, for a price. I recall ordering a logo, on-line, and it was almost comic. I waited and waited and then got a clipart logo, which would have taken anyone 30 seconds. I asked for my money back and they said that they did what they were hired to do and I never heard from them again. People are extremely sceptical to these cheap prices.

I'm not talking specifically about that company, but I've seen this sort of thing many times before. It may be smooth sailing for a while and you may get a couple of good years out of it if you're lucky. But, a price race to the bottom is not sustainable in the long run.

I'm in South Africa and I have clients all over the globe. Besides doing work for Architects, Developer's etc, other Archviz studios in the UK and US also outsource work to me, some of them regulars on this forum.

I think in your case Morne there is a helluva lot of credibility (as well as transparency)

It doesn't matter where the company is because they can hire people all over the world to produce what they are offering....virtual offices are very common, phones with forwarding service too.....so the only way to know for sure is knocking the door.
