question for HDR Lightmap users

Guys how do you setup Lightmap so the intensity of the lights in it is the same as when using VRay RT connection. I have hard times it's always much darker and I have to bump up very hard the light intensity in HDR Studio or intensity of VRay light when using this new Area light feature. SO basically when you're using VRay RT connection with HDR Lightmap how you setuup stuff so it looks the same on both apps so it's easy to work with HDR without too much fiddling.

Having only used HDR studio 4 (5 is way too expensive) I usually fiddled with the camera exposure until my lights looked similar to what HDR studio was showing me. Probably not the answer you were looking for but that's how I did it. I can't really remember the exact camera settings because I haven't used hdr studio for over a year now.
