  • Is there anyone who has a 3 or 2 computer network Max/Vray

Hi I have 3 computers 2 bi pro and 1 mono pro.
    I use XP and Win2k.

The network with Max/Vray is not good here with the use of the new Max network capabilities.
It works in practice but is very slower than a single machine...
I was said that it was a traffic issue, that's right !

Does anyone have experiment in that situation, how to improve the speed?
    etc.
Well, a bad point on 2 machines, only 512 Mo Ram, yes I must increase it.
    it will help.
I tried on light scenes, not using more than 400 Mo Ram, and it took 1h30
instead of 20mn on a single computer.

I was said too that one computer should be used to be the master and distribute all the data to the other ones.It must not contribute to the
rendering process, is that true, I must lose one powerfull machine ?

Any strong help from experimented small network renderers ?

    Hi

You should check your network cards, if your network cards are low speed the hole rocessing will go slow. and your main machine should be the manager and the rest servers. on the servers you should have good CPU and high RAM no need for fancy Graphix card use the main on the motherboards. The manager is let free so you can cary on working.

try to run the server on the main machine and see if it will accept rendering.
    Hope this will help.
