Walls & Tiles with MAX 2017

Is anyone using Walls&Tiles in MAX 2017? My checkerboard issue was Walls&Tiles and there hasn't been a fix, at least I don't think Has anyone gotten it to work?

It is great when it works. They are working with AD. it might be a AD+WIN10 thing.

Mate, you really need to consider staying with a older version than the latest one to be sure to be productive in production
We just made the switch to 2016 a few months ago, we where still in 2014 till then, we wont get to 2017 before 2018 will be released, at least, exactly for the issues you are facing.
At the same time, I have to thank you because you are dealing with all the *** we don't want to get while working in prod and you are reporting them, so thanks

I just sent off my quarterly subscription check. I guess I assume that I would get working software.

I was paying a subscription for a software that AD stopped supporting. Not until year two of no updates or patches did I call them on it. At some point MAX will stop being updated, patched, or anything else and we'll still be leasing it.

Assume and AD are two things that shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. I'm glad I made the jump with 2016 but I won't be switching to 2017, I'd rather wait for 2018 SP3 or something.

Bobby did you ever get Walls and Tiles to work with 2017?

It was better, but I still had to uninstall it. The VIZPARK folks said AD fixed it in that last SP, but it was still unstable for me.

Thanks again Bobby. I did get it to work...eventually! Buggy install - seems to install the library folders on my NAS with a 24 random number string, instead of VP_Stone, and it seem difficult to rename the folder to something sensible and redirect the library that is looking for 24 random numbers.
The results are good but the displacement mesh calculation seems to break max, my RAM amount (32GB) and just about everything else.
I will keep trying

Seems to work on it's own if the only thing you want to do are walls. Load anything else or an old project created without VP installed...BANG! Max is outta here.
