  • Error on exit

I have been getting a lot of crash errors when I exit MAX and now I can't open a MAX scene that I worked on last week. I tried opening and merging, both just crash MAX. Also, all the autobacks crash MAX, too. Any clues?

Try temporarily cleaning your ENU folder, copy it to a safe place, and delete the original, start max and do your thing, see if it works. Usually cleaning the ENU folder solves a lot of those issues, the thing is you'll lose all your customizations inside max.

Try to merge only a few objects each time to a new file till max crash then you avoid that object/s next time till you merge everything else .

All my backups, from several devices, give me an error.

One-by-one and it was caused by one little object. How can a little piece of geometry break a large model and it's backups.
