I'm not sure what to think. It's kinda like the Wacom Cintiq but also includes a computer. It is certainly quite pretty. Like something Apple would design. But like most Microsoft products it's how they actually perform that is the issue.

The 3D sketch app looks kinda neat, but also seems a little gimicky. How would you actually use it in production.

Lets see what Apple brings to the table. They have a hardware event tomorrow.

That buying screen and PC separate probably makes more sense in the long run.
All ports are on the back?

If Apple doesn't do anything with the MacBook Pro tomorrow, other than a simple processor increase, they are sorry. They haven't changed the thing in 5 years. At least Microsoft is still trying to innovate.

That I agree with, there seem to have been a gradual decline at Apple since Steve passed away while it has been the opposite with Nadella. Ballmer was all about the sales, and I think these technology companies where innovation is the only sustainable strategy (well that applies to all companies really) you need a product visionary at the top. Sadly, I don't think Tim Cook is that man. I hope they prove me wrong next year at the iPhone 10 year anniversary.

I'm thinking I bought my wacom cintiq 27hd too early and now I want to sell it. On the other hand I don't want the computer, just the screen and that cilinder thingy.

I think buying the Surface PC too soon would be a big mistake. If patterns persist, it'be buggy as heck for at least a couple releases.

If the rumor mills are correct, the MacBook pro will get a faster processor and faster memory, with a touch strip for the functions keys. Talk about a yawner! They are postponing indefinitely the wireless earbuds.

I know right? The biggest update seems to be the touch strip which IMO is kinda lame if thats all there is. Im hoping to see if/what is released for the iPad, mine just sh!t the bed and need a new one or might be looking at M$.

Hmmmmm yeah, I'm fairly sure the carbon X1 had a function key touch strip about 3 years ago - waiting to see if there are any actual innovations...

Watching now and they are just bragging about last months announcements. I picked up the 12" iPad a few months ago, which to me is just a bigger iPad. I also got the new Apple Watch and again, nothing different than my first generation Apple Watch.
