I currrently run two dell monitors. One 27 inch and one 24 inch. They are pretty good. Costs were about £300-£500. I've been advised to get a Illyama monitors 28inch for about £180.00. This seems really cheap to me so I'm a bit confused about which set of monitors might be a good choice. Does anyone have any recommendations ?

Yes, I didn't think Illyama were that great. Not sure why the guy recommended that one to be honest.
What do you think about this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-Ultras...ips+wide+gamut
Looks like it is massivly discounted too. I'm hoping it's not because it's a crap monitor. Original retail: £1279 apparently.

I just bought a BenQ 32" 4k display and I love it.

No bad pixels or light bleed, etc.
Not sure if you are looking at 4k displays but it's the only good quality, reasonably-priced 4k display that is 32" and it can handle two inputs at 4k, 60HZ using display port and mini display port. It also has built-in speakers, USB3 hub, and low-blue light mode and a CAD/CAM mode I may never use but it's still pretty cool to have.
If I didn't get this I'd probably have gotten a Dell. Dell monitors are not only good quality but you can control them with batch scripts for changing inputs, etc. This means you can setup hotkeys instead of navigating clumsy OSD menus. Depending on your use this can be a really helpful thing.Steve Burke

Another vote for the dell ulstrasharp series - accurate, pretty cheap and lots of extra bits. Wide gamut is good for photographers and print, less so for TV which is all I do. Their SRGB colour profile is pretty much spot on out of the box.
