Heeelp with Max 6!

By mistake, I deleted some 3dsMax6 files, some of them surely involved with the uninstalling process!
I can not either enter/reinstall and or uninstall it, so I got stuck!
I renamed "C:/3DS Max 6"as something else and edited the WindowsXP Register removing all references to "3DS Max 6" and "Discreet".
But seems it is not enough!
What else should I do to be able to reinstall Max6' please?

you should be able to go to add and remove programs and max will repair itself .. has worked for me many times.
