  • Snow accumulation

    Hi guys !
I want to go next level on snow creation and this is the problem i am trying to solve :
    http://media.gettyimages.com/videos/...5871?s=640x640
As you can see from this example snow is being accumulated towards center of the whole area, on the sides it is thinner and in center - thicker.
I tried to achieve this with usual meshing options like Frost or VRay mesher, but i don't see any options to mesh it like the image above. I am looking towards houdini and even max creation graph to control points on edges of mesh, but for now i don't know how to do that. For now i am using Krakatoa to generate particles on mesh using it's normals and controlling slope angle to remove particles on big slopes, but problem is that i cannot create several layers of particles on top of existing, Krakatoa has limited control or i don't know how to achieve that.
Maybe there is anyone who knows more about thinking particles to accumulate particles on center of the simulation so mesher will make it thicker ? Maybe someone has even examples of this ?
    Thanks !

Maybe you can encourage Clovis to get back on his Snow Gun Realtime.

Yeah i am aware of this plugin, quite a cool thing ! Though i am trying to achieve much more precise snow creation. I've found that anisotropic mesh creation makes effect i want to achieve, though still it is hardly controllable.
