  • Replying to forum threads and lack of 'spaces'

I've been a member of this forum for a long time now. Lately (last couple of weeks or so) when I reply to a thread, I am finding that the spacebar isn't adding spaces between my words. I have to go back and manually add them in!?! How weird is that?

I'm using Chrome. Anyone else had this?
    Kind Regards,
    Richard Birket

Bizarre! What's all that about then? Actually - this reply seems to be working with spaces just fine!

You shouldn't have switched your max version.

I have a different issue. Whenever I reply with a quote and start typing, I get like 3 words in my sentance then the curser jumps to the line above and shifts my words down. So I end up with something like this:

nce should all be on the same line
                My senta

Then I have to cut my words from the 2nd line back before the 1st to get to correct thing:
My sentance should all be on the same line

Had that for a couple of months now and ONLY on this forum.
                Kind Regards,
                Morne

Happens only using Reply With Quote. (Chrome Browser here)

This is a compatibility issue of the forum software vBulletin on Chrome.
                  See here: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/foru...on-reply/page2

                  Some possible workarounds:
                  - hit Enter then Backspace when starting to type a post (because it happens only when cursor is on end of post).
                  - use Advanced Editor (Go Advanced button)
                  - switch forum editor from Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing to Standard Editor: http://forums.chaosgroup.com/profile.php?do=editoptions

                        Well, not yet anyway! HA!

As others have said, I just use Go Advanced when it happens...
