  • removing colapsed vertex paint

i have a object i painted with the vertex paint option applied, i colapsed it and now i want to remove it and pain another or just erase some areas, so far adding a new vertex paint option does not seem to work ontop of the mesh, only option i see is to really export out the mesh and reimport, anyone knows way to actually be able to remove a colapsed vertex paint?

Tools -> Channel Info. Select vertex channel (0), right click and hit clear. Then, collapse the modifier it added.
