  • CGI or Photos

I think that they are all photos, but maybe not. I have a guy who wants to build a site like this to sell his room designs, however, he doesn't want to build anything physically unless he sells things, which is why he called me. All the rooms will be computer, with links to allow people to purchase the items.

Those are photos - photoshopped backgrounds, etc, but not 3d

nope, don't believe it - look at the details near baseboard and stuff like tile grout. No way someone went out of their way to make such sloppy fittings in 3d and leave 3d-looking decorations in shelves.

It was this one that caught my eye. But then again, looking at the images at full size, I can see what you mean, there are some imperfections that do look more photographic. I was thinking things like grout and carpet footprints are just really good shaders

its hard to tell, they look cgi and it looks real, the border there is now these days blurry, real life images are being used in cgi for everything so it can be really believable, so i am leaning more to the real image side but it depends, if you want to go all out its possible to create it in cgi
