Is there anything else out there similar to Psd manager where you can render different elements by there Object IDs so that you can edit them in PS layers. Sorry if this question sounds alittle dumb.

Indecisive archictects will be the death of us all.
There are only two PSD exporters for 3ds max ( and VIZ ) : psd-manger and AF Export Channels. And there the similarity ends.
psd-manager is integrated as a render effect, AF Export Channels is a utility. Because it is a utility it can not save it's settings with the scene (but there aren't many anyway), can not render animations as PSD sequences (makes it useless for compositing in After Effects...) and does not support network rendering. AF Export Channels can only export PSD layers (no PSD Channels) for each Material ID or Object ID in the scene. You can not export both at the same time and you can not select idividual IDs. The layers will have jagged edges because it can not render antialiased layers. (The Antialiasing option only resizes the layers after rendering.)
