  • does you back hurt you ?!

    Hi there renderers, !
    nice day
well,I don't know if this subject has been disscused before ,but I found it useful and important to talk about...
does you back hurt you ?!
as you know, we spend almost the whole day just sitting in front of the screen ,modeling,rendering,vraying.....learning new things,internet.....etc,
that would absolutely harm our back and legs,
what do u do to avoid this in general ?
is there any special kinda sport to keep us healthy?
we need to sit loads on our computers, but we also want to stay fit and have no back problems...
    what do u advice ?
    well guys n gals here...
    take care
    and enjoy your day

I use an office chair with a good flexable back that pushes on my back slightly, and it helps me keep it straight....

at home I use a similar leather chair with full back support, I bought a while back....very comfy yet not too comfy....I don't wanna fall a sleep in it .......I don't have any back problems.

I also tend to work out on a regular basis and stretch my back as well...

Some studies state that 80% of all back pain problems are related to weakened abdominal muscles - not your back muscles which is a common misconception. Since learning this, I do 3 reps of 10 situps/crunches every other day. In between days I go running a couple of miles in order to slim down, relax my other muscle groups, and burn off some calories.

Since I have been on this routine for the past several months, I have reduced my back problems in half and I have gotten a priceless amount of quality sleep. These situps are well worth the initial pain, punishment, and agony.

                I try to do 4 to 6 miles of biking a 3 to four time a week / run 3 to 6 miles a day 3 time a week and walk about 10 miles a week.......occasionally I play soccer.....
but some weeks when I'm too busy, I do very little....

and I agree with jujubee, about the sleep.......the exercise definatly gets me tired enough to get a good night sleep.

hehehe...my chair is nothing special....mostly just a regualr office chair

Working out is the number one answer, a good chair and good posture comes next.

Well, i don´t have any troubles with pain in my muscles, but there´s something odd going with my hair....it´s becoming white...and i don´t know what to do or why it´s appening, i don´t want to paint it, cause im only 30 years old, so i have reached to this conclusion, since i become working with CG, one or two hair wires are appearing by day... . I´m tired my friends...these deadlines are the cause of all the back pains and white hairs. Ask for more time and relax a bit, play something..go to the beach.

                        Bye

best thing? Stretch everyday and work out, get those back muscles buffed out.
