maxscript - panning region/crop render

Hi there

I have a large image that I want to animate a camera panning over without a change in perspective (the model is superimposed over a photograph). I think the best way to do this would be to use a script that region renders from left to right in a camera viewport. Would anyone have/know where to get such a script?

why dont you do it in Post ?... ive done it in Vegas several times..

natty, it's a v. large poly cityscape file with buildings rising up from left to right. to do it in Post we would have to render oversize first which we are trying to avoid. just evaluating our options at the moment.
