  • Digital camera ?

I've to buy a Digital camera mainly to take pictures of the sites in which my models are going to be at.
What do you consider as the minimum quality/features/megapixeles etc. I should go for, taking into account I want spend as little as possible?
    Thanks a lot!

I would say the A-75 is a great camera for what your looking for. Its like a version older. (a-80 is newest) its has manula exposure, the MP are ok. You can set up a Pano rig, and make your own spherical hdris with it.

I think you can get it less than $200.

The more important things to be a good digital camera are optical zoom and lenses ( so many people thinks that megapixels are everything).
i´ve seen cameras with 6 Mpixels and 10x optical zoom!!!! ( it´s Minolta)
Can you try Pentax, Sony, Minolta or Canon ( for me are the best brands).
          Hope this helps

I recently faced a similar delima and after alot of questions and a crapload of reading I setteled on the Cannon Powershot G5 and love it. It takes great stills (I'll post a couple examples if you like) and also takes great little video clips at 30sec intervals.

My Tiger avatar was taken with that camera at our local zoo from about 40' away.

Fuji have some fantastic cameras. I have an S7000 which is perfect for what I need. Check out the Finepix E550 which was just released.

Like Syclone1 said, Canon have very good cameras too. I nearly bought a G5 myself, but settled on the S7000.

I have a konica Minolta dimage G600 and love it, the reason i got this camera is because it doesn't have much 'purple frinching' that is mostly seen on pictures with strong light and occurs more with compact camera's like mine.

Be sure to check actual images taken with the camera before you buy.
