Okay, Ive been wanting to unload some stuff onto the vray community, mostly scene files I thought might help people, but since Im too lazy to create my own website, Ill just post them here. Im sure there are files Ive posted that have been buried after all this time, but might be useable to newbies.

AFAIK, everything I post will be either created by me, or gleaned from the web from free resources. So there shouldn't be anything here thats not public domain. In other words, I got it legally, for free, so you get it legally, for free. In some cases, there might be scene files originally created by others but I adjusted them.

Case in point that wonderful chair by Zuliban, where I retextured the chair to my liking. If someone recognizes something they created and would rather I didn't redistribute my adjusted version, please let me know, and Ill remove it.

okay first scene file. Its a water bottle. Noted that people have had issues creating a realistic plastic. Hope this helps. You should be able to open and hit render.

scene rendered with vray version 1.46.02. Dont know how it will render with older versions. Let me know if theres serious issues.

The ice scene file I adjusted for Gander01. I really didn't keep much of what he did, but the scene file technically is still his. Alot of people ask about ice material, so here ya are. Not perfect, and doesn't look as good in particular settings, but I was never able to reproduce my original image after changing vray versions.

Heres the incredible chair Zuliban was kind enough to share. I gave it my own textures that people seemed to like. Once again zuliban, if you dont want me reposting it, let me know and Ill remove it.

simple example of a bush created using displacement. Might be good for shot where you dont need alot of detail.

isnt that the same bush done by zerofractal back when we used that old forum and displacement 1st came out
