  • EIZO LCD - would you recomend it?

    hi,
I saw several topics about monitors here, I'm going to buy a new one.
I would like to buy LCD (space-saving).
It should handle 1600x1200 and I found this one:
    http://www.eizo.com/products/lcd/l885/index.asp
    http://reviews.cnet.com/Eizo_FlexSca...-30710312.html
I heard a lot of good words about EIZO... does anyone use this type of display? Or could anybody share his experience with high-end LCDs? (in case this EIZO is high-end display of course

    thank you

    haza,

I use 2 of them and their native resolution is 1600 x 1200 my first LCD
was an Eizo L675 this one still had 2 DVI inputs the L885 just have one
I never had any problems with them or any dead pixel's and especially
the L885 have a nice sharp picture over DVI because of a 0.255 mm
    Pixel Pitch
I recommend it no doubt... hey man go for it !

      thanks for your reply, Andreas

truly I'm not so concerned about multiple DVI input, anyway it could help in some cases.

Regarding to several reviews for instance on cnet.com you can expect EIZO L885 is a realy high-end product. But as mentioned previously by somebody here, this is very special kind of work so that's why I asked you all here about the quality of displaying colour ranges, grey scales...

        haza,
this depends on your requirement and your money pocket, then I would
recommend to take a look at the Eizo CG220 LCD the High End model

even the price is not announced, it would be about 5000 EUR, which is 4 times higher than 885. Anyway realy nice one!
