......I am sure you will be given more details once you contact them.....
After a few days I would at least expect an answer to my question here, before I mail my life to nowhere...

Some one tried to let people know his company had job openings and folks make negative comments.......if you don't feel comfortable replying, then don't....

Asking for some sort of prove that people can see what kind of work they can expect before they mail a portfolio is not meant negative. Some people I know suddenly saw their portfolios show up with potential clients they never met before I am trying to do this the polite way, so don't make this into something unpolite. By all means, if you feel comfortable post your portfolio. From experience I know that serious companies offer links to their websites or post examples of their work. The thread starter clearly shows HIS demands in public, so I it's not a crime to ask some examples of HIS work in public...

Why not just send them an email like:

In light of all the artists rights being violated by some companies on the internet requesting artists portfolios and using them for their own gain would it be possible to receive a url to your portfolio or corporate web site from a credible email address other than a Gmail or Hotmail account?

Thank you for your time and understanding.

                  your name and address here

Asking for proof is fine if you are nervous, being professional on the forum is fine too and when some one tries to do a good turn and offer jobs or make people aware of jobs then they should not expect sarcasm for being nice.

Not slamming every post here...just pointing out a nicer tone could be present from some posters.....
