    Amen to that Natty.

As it turns out there was no virus, so no harm done. Everyone can now get the files. But imagine if there was a virus, and everyone was sceptical and all went and installed it. I know a few people who had that virus and its quite hard to clean.

So give poor natty a break. He hasnt blamed anyone....infact no one has blamed anyone at all. If i were in his position i would have done the same thing until we knew for sure that the files were not infected.

I think we should get off the whole virus topic and just get back to what this thread is about... and thats a handy little program used to pause vray renders.

A question about it actually. When the process is paused. Does it free up the memory used by that process and the cpu cycles?
Cause it woud not be too good if it held alot of memory and the cpu cycles.

        Cool topic

So - when it pauses 3dsmax.exe it can't free up memory or smth like - coz then you can't resume the process. About CPU Cycles in pause mode - trust me - it's not smth you can see or feel If you don't need to resume - just don't pause, cancel your render and close max

Now I don't know what to include else... Do you need Pause (button in max) button hooking -=- so when you press it while render in max my prog freezes max... ?
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Normally Minimizing max will free up the memory used.. (As it will with most any program) so, with it paused, is it possible to minimize?

(Haven't tried it, not terribly useful here.. neat idea though)
