  • Script or UI program to check status/restart distributed render service on slaves

    Hey all,

Currently we have 12 machines all running Vray and it's a pain in the ass to go through each one via a remote desktop to restart the spawners if they crash or need restarting. Is there something I can do to streamline this? We have Deadline installed on all the machines too, but I'm not tech savvy enough to create a .bat file or something to trigger the restart via Deadline.

    Cheers

    Hello,

We use https://rendernodemonitor.com/ for a while now, very satisfied so far. At least, it fits our needs. You can drop a line to Gergely Toth hello@toth-gergely.com to ask for a trial period.

that looks pretty cool, but any idea how they are going to charge for it?

Just saw that UAC has to be disabled and the slaves need a live internet connection and because of those 2 problems RNM is not something I can pursue which is too bad as it looked pretty promising.
