So now both are out, can we use them confidently for production? Currently on Max 2016.

I would be much more worried about Max'es readiness for production rather than Vray's. I'm using 3.6 pretty confidently with Max 2016 with no showstopping issues so far so I guess it will be just as stable on Max 2018.Aleksandar Mitov

I've done a few smaller projects with 2018 and 3.6 without issue. (Using 3.6 nighlies). We need to get off of 2017 ASAP and going back to 2016 is not an option. So I have been happy so far.
