  • View 3D models on mobile?

Which is your to go app for android or iOS to take your 3ds max models with you? Sometimes we all have the need to pan and orbit around the 3d models, to better explain design ideas to clients. Simple renders are ok, but having smth more, rotatin the model, turn on/off layers...things like this are a + value.

I haven't tried it yet, but you might take a look at Sketchfab. They just released an app that I haven't tested. And with a paid subscription you can have models password protected or private. I think I'd use them if I needed to have access to viewing my models. Currently use them for sharing a few 3d scans I've done and the interface is pleasant to work with..

I haven't tried Sketchfab but from a quick look now, it seem that it is online based. Can you view 3d modes from you tablet directly? What about layers?

Well they recently sent me an email about having released apps for iOS and Android. So I think if you get the related app you could view the models on a tablet. Not sure about layers, you want to be able to turn on and off layers? I found this after doing a quick search, https://forum.sketchfab.com/t/featur...t-layers/860/7.

Just tried it, doesnt work offline with models saved on local memory. No layers as well. So far Autodesk A360 seems the most complete one.
