Looks like possibly some MegaScans in there, very nice work.

I cant be the only one who's not that impressed by it. it's a photoscan that's been optimized in zbrush and viewed in UE4. they have barely been arranged into anything.
when you use dual 1080's to view a single asset you can push it pretty far, yeah.

Its 3k 60fps. One of them would be enough for 1080p
He didn't use any metallic or specular maps. Just albebo and normal. Which is interesting.
        The AO is realtime.
They're photoscanned but not in one part. He rearranged everything, the scenes we see aren't scanned entirely as they are.
Took him serveral weeks per scene.
I've not seen anything so close to reality in a realtime engine yet.
But even if not, those are great images. And I'd be even impressed if this was a vray render.
He'll make a playable tech demo.

Are you not impressed by ROCKS?! Yeah I like following this guy on twitter, but I'm not impressed by the work until I see it come together into something more like the breakdowns for Star Wars Battlefront. I still find this really awesome, https://vimeo.com/172293963

I think we've nailed scanning rocks and fruit, so like some of you, I'm not overly impressed. It's great work, no argument there. But we're kind of at the "Simpsons did it" moment with scanned rocks. Plus, who in production has probably months and months of time just to work on rocks?

Which is where he is from btw.

Almost forget about that. The wohle Level design of battlefront was stunning.

He's not only scanning rocks. He also makes pretty neat leaves:
                  https://gumroad.com/rens#

But as I've understood he's a RnD guy basically searching for workflows and processes to make such things possible in a reasonable time.
