There's a lot of talk of contracts on this forum - in an industry made up of artists who have to learn how to do business it's inevitable. I've shared some little bits from our contracts before on here and he feels pretty strongly that half of our industry - even those with great work - charging too little, not protecting their work and working with no legal protection does not do anyone any favors & turns it into a race to the bottom.
There's such a great community within this industry of advice and help where technical information gets shared freely & there's a ton of support, but very little of it stretches to the business side.
