why animated avatars are lame

-the movement always catches the eye, distracting from the text.
-the animations dont get better if you have to watch them 50 times.
-they slow down the board if you are on a 3rd world connection.
-there are lots of them on the official disney boards
-there are lots of them on warez kiddie boards. (most of them with animated tits)
-they make people think you are 3L3T3 R0X0R and you RULE.
