Hi You unbeleavable people that are left in this great forum

realy of vray toppic, but this forum is so good, i maybe find an answer to a totaly other plugin, i couldnt find at 3daliens

well i am thinking of a complex particleflow animation, morphing the smell of a rose, and flying throug a cloud of microscopic drops to the body of a parfum flacon.

it will be very complex (for me at last), and i found out, realflow doesnt give me enough control.

so glue 3d seems to be integrated better to max from the point of an artist, but what i realy need to have is the connection to Particleflow and back.

there is a connection but i just cant find out how it works.

maybe someone of you has got a demo scene ?

Sorry, but ghe glue 3d Forum seeems to be in a deeep winter sleep. no answers here.

    Thanks

Do you need the mist drops to deform? Maybe just some pairs of particles with blobmeshes?

        Hi rerender

yes we are just in the startingshoes right now so the storrybord is somewhat anclear untill now.

but yes i think we will have lots of compositing work, and of course some of those drops will be an own renderlayer with blobmesh

in the moment i am rather in it to test several programms like realflow, Particleflow and glue3d.

all of them have advantages. Realflow calulates the most realistic behaviours in a more scientific manner, but doesent deal to acheave a very specific more artistic look.

particleflow (when i have learned it all at last) will give me total control of the events, but the only point is, it cant do a real fluid behaviour, with cohäsion and so on.

Glue seems a bit to close the gap between Realflow and particleflow, but as i have found out right now, has a bug in the for me most important part, the import and export from PF to Glue and back.

but it seems to be a good starting point to do this with glue and PF.
